These are loafers from "SPIGOLA," a brand that started in Kobe after the owner studied in Florence and now leads the bespoke world, earning high praise both in Japan and abroad. I've worn shoes from John Lobb and Weston, considered the best, but personally, I find these more comfortable. I think it's the quality of the suede and the construction; they're soft, cling to the foot, and, above all, feel wonderful to wear. In my case, I don't even experience the heel slippage that often occurs with loafers. I've worn them a few times this summer indoors in a building.
