This is a rare guitar, a limited edition of 30 made to commemorate GODIN's 25th anniversary. Besides the 25th anniversary model, there was also a KOA model, and there seem to be some differences. According to online information, flyers from the time, and the manual, the differences appear to be the fingerboard (ebony on this model vs. Richlite) and the piezo preamp (RMC on this model vs. LRBaggs). At the time of its release, the standard xt-SA model was adopted by the Berklee College of Music for its guitar synth curriculum (see manual). It features a koa top, a silver leaf maple center, and a poplar wing body. The neck is mahogany, and the fingerboard is ebony. It has a built-in piezo pickup, allowing control of three types of sounds with a single guitar: electric, acoustic, and synth. Used for a few live performances and rehearsals. The pickups were once replaced with different ones but have been returned to the original ones. This model was announced around 2012 and purchased in 2015. I checked the sound before listing, and there were no issues with the electric or piezo pickups. Also, I don't have a GK environment at the moment as I've switched to a GR800, so I can't confirm the GK operation at this stage, but I think it should be fine since the piezo is outputting. By the way, I was able to use the GK output without any problems during a live performance shortly after the purchase. The original gig bag is included, but it is significantly damaged due to aging, and the non-woven fabric is peeling off in some places. As a bonus, an ESP arming adjuster is included, which has been modified as shown in the photo of the back of the body.
