"Front Quarter" refers to the area from the neck to the shoulder, where the fibers are most densely packed. This results in greater strength, firmness, and luster than regular horsehide, and the aging process is exceptionally beautiful. The zipper is also quite rare, a SERVAL gold zip. It's a 1960s piece with a Sears tag, representing the final generation of the golden age of American horsehide. It's unlikely you'll find another deadstock piece with the original tags. Moreover, it has a versatile silhouette that looks great in modern fashion. Military pieces from this era often have silhouettes that are difficult to wear as fashion items, so this one is much more stylish for wearing. In my personal opinion, you could wear it, but honestly, it's a masterpiece worthy of being in a reference book or magazine. It's better to keep it as a collection piece or investment, as the value will only increase due to its rarity.
