This is an early Signet model featuring small oval lenses, and it's a model that rarely appears in circulation nowadays. The temple marking reads "B&L 4 5 1/4". The hinges use the 3-barrel hinge design seen in early models, which confirms the high-end specifications of the late 1950s to early 1960s. It has the unique construction typical of early vintage pieces, with a strong handmade feel. The frame has the feel of **gold-filled (GF equivalent)**, common in high-end models of the time, with the gold color maintained on both the front and back, and no peeling or exposed base metal typical of plating. ※Although this piece does not have markings such as "1/10 12K GF", many B&L Ray-Ban models from the early 60s were gold-filled without markings, and this is determined by the age, construction, hinge shape, and wear condition.
