These are sardine hooks for use with Tachiuo Tenya (hairtail lures). (Sardine holder, sardine hold) The length is adjusted to fit normal-sized tenya from various manufacturers. A loop-shaped attachment part is used because it's annoying when the hook comes off when replacing the sardine. The captain of a Tachiuo fishing boat in Tokyo Bay uses these when fishing, so I believe the quality is sufficient. In the case of Daiwa's AH type, the loop interferes with the shape of the head, but it can be used without problems by wrapping it with bait wrapping wire to hold it in place. The tenya itself is an image and is not included. Because these are handmade by an amateur, there may be individual differences in dimensions and finish.
