It's made to be waterproof, and even after casting all day, or leaving it in water for 3 days, it didn't short out. However, it's a handmade product. Please be aware that it is not completely waterproof. Batteries are not included‼︎‼︎ CR and BR series 435 batteries are recommended. To prevent it from slipping out of float holes like the Daiwa Crusader, please purchase paper tape from a 100-yen shop and wrap it around the battery before inserting it. This alone will prevent it from slipping out!
