Dedicated to everyday tableware, he single-handedly fires the climbing kiln in his workshop in the Yanbaru region of northern Okinawa, diligently working on his pottery. The red clay body is decorated with a unique Okinawan white clay, and water droplets are drawn with cobalt blue, then fired in a climbing kiln. It has a stylish and cute finish, typical of Mr. Fukuda's style. The inside is entirely covered with white clay. This is a popular design among women. Please enjoy using it. Because everything is handmade, each piece is slightly different. Due to the climbing kiln firing, there may be ash adhering to the surface, the surface of the earthenware may be rough, or the slip may be uneven, but this is not a defect. Also, the cracks on the surface are called "nyu" (crazing) and are caused by the difference in the shrinkage ratio between the clay body and the glaze, and are not scratches.
