The microfleece material, made from recycled plastic bottles, is lightweight, thick, and soft to the touch. It effectively traps dead air, keeping the inside of the garment at a comfortable temperature, and the drawcord at the hem can be tightened to further increase airtightness. The shoulders are also insulated with PrimaLoft® for use as an outer layer, preventing body heat from escaping from the head and neck. The shoulders, which are prone to contact with packs, are reinforced with recycled nylon fabric. The design incorporates electrostatic care to suppress the generation of static electricity.
