This product is a high-current, high-end, high-power amplifier DC jack not commonly found in Japan. It is a premium DC jack made of brass with all-gold plating. It is a reliable product with a robust design and low contact resistance for high current. This jack can be used to replace the DC jack of commercially available AC adapter-compatible digital amplifiers with this high-quality jack to further improve sound quality. I replaced the DC jack of my FX-98e with this jack, and the subsequent sound quality changes are described below. Features Most ordinary DC jacks have a ground section made of tin-plated plates, but this product is entirely made of brass with gold plating, and combined with the low contact resistance due to the high current specifications, it can be expected to improve sound quality. The rated current of a typical DC jack is several amps. Therefore, the amplifier output that the jack can handle is equivalent to about 100W to 200W. Commercially available digital amplifiers, etc., with AC adapter-type high-power amplifiers, have many with outputs of around 500W, but a DC jack with a rated current of 10-20A class is essential. This jack perfectly meets the requirements of a DC jack for high-power amplifiers. As far as I know, there are no jacks in Japan with a rated current of 20A. By replacing the existing digital amplifier's DC jack with this jack, the sound quality improvements mentioned above can be expected.
