The blade and handle are made from a single piece of material, providing excellent durability and strength. Made of stainless steel, it has a good cutting edge and is resistant to rust. Unlike inexpensive stainless steel that hasn't been hardened, the blade can be resharpened even if it gets damaged. The hardness is 58-59 HRC. Compared to a typical Kogatana (hunting knife), its size and extremely thick blade are impressive. With this size, it can also be used as a hatchet or machete. The handle is tubular, allowing you to insert a branch or stick for use in finishing off bears, boars, or deer from a distance, or for trimming high branches. This is a very tough and practical Matagi knife. Wood is not included.
