Venetian glass, a red lidded trinket box with gold leaf detailing. Purchased in Venice quite a while ago. I used to keep accessories in it, but I'm selling it to declutter. Size (approx.) Diameter: Top of the body 7.5cm Widest part 10cm, Bottom 6cm Height 12cm (including knob) The red color is translucent and very beautiful when light shines through it. Due to aging, there is some flaking of the gold leaf on the overlapping part of the lid and the body (photos 7, 8, 9). I think there is almost no flaking on the gold patterns. Since this is a used item, please check the photos and consider purchasing it with the understanding that it has been stored at home for a long time.
