It's made of fairly thick fabric and has a sturdy construction, with a good number of storage pockets, and it appears to be waterproof, including the zipper. A4-size sheet music fits in the pockets without any problems. The Telecaster-type electric guitar I have fits without any issues, but depending on the type of electric guitar, it may be a tight fit or not fit at all.
