This is a gorgeous komon pattern. Of course, it's silk. It's a slightly more subdued, grayish-purple color than in the image. With this much pattern, it can be worn for three seasons, any time except mid-summer. The floral season doesn't matter. Because it's a high-quality komon pattern, you could even wear it like a visiting kimono for occasions like New Year's. Worn three times.
