New, unused, and stored at home, this is a set of four sometsuke (blue and white) plates (everything in the images). Since the printing method (inban) was used from the Meiji era onwards, I can't say for sure, but these were made before or during the Meiji era as high-quality, hand-painted items. The designs are hand-painted by artisans, and each one is slightly different in terms of the shade of the cobalt blue and the brushstrokes. The red circle in the second image shows the careful work done, such as raising and creating unevenness in the porcelain clay. Size: Diameter: Approximately 10.5cm, Height: Approximately 3cm These are old items. Although they are new and unused, they have been stored for a considerable number of years since they were made. Therefore, there may be stains from storage, and unlike today, inspections were less strict, so there may be warpage, iron spots, imperfections in the glaze, and chips on the foot ring or rim (as seen in the sixth image).
