NIKE Space Hippie 01 27.0cm Space Hippie is a story of turning waste into something new. From the upper to the outsole, the Space Hippie 01 uses over 50% recycled materials by weight. The upper, called "Space Waste Yarn," uses approximately 90% recycled polyester material made from recycled plastic bottles, T-shirts, and yarn scraps. The soft Crater Foam midsole combines Nike Grind and a mixture of foams for a unique design with excellent stability. The insole uses waste from ZoomX foam, the cushioning that creates the ultimate comfort in Nike's Next% running shoes. The Space Hippie comes in a single shoe box made of recycled materials, instead of the traditional double box. Plant-based ink is used for printing. The Nike Space Hippie collection is one of the gears manufactured with the lowest carbon emissions in Nike history.
