Nymphenburg is one of the seven major German porcelain manufacturers, alongside Meissen. This is a rare item believed to have been made between 1910 and 1975. The porcelain is white, and the cup is so thin that it is translucent when held up to the light. (Condition) There are areas where the gold paint on the handle has faded (see image 5), but it is a very beautiful item that doesn't show much sign of use.
