This is a piece by Masao Momohara, the representative of Okuhara Glassworks. It's a lidded storage bowl/small item container, approximately 15cm in diameter and 16cm high. It was displayed in a glass case at my parents' home for a long time. It's new and unused. Mr. Momohara passed away in 2011. He was a pioneer of recycled glass and a leader in Ryukyu glass. My parents were big fans of his work because of its gentle beauty, and they bought pieces every time they visited. This piece also has a unique color and soft pattern that shines when light hits it. I would like to pass it on to someone who will cherish it, as I am downsizing.
