This is an item being sold to organize items stored at home. Based on the feel, I believe it is wool. It is a beautiful half-width obi with a woven pattern in a deep purple base with ochre and orange. The pattern is the same on both sides. I believe it is an easy-to-tie obi with a firm weave.
