This is a wooden incense smoker (Räuchermann), known as a traditional craft from the Erzgebirge region (Ore Mountains) of Germany. This one is a design featuring a chimney sweep (Schornsteinfeger), a popular good luck charm, and is carefully crafted with details like a pipe and ladder. This belonged to my grandfather.
