This is a key case that can be attached to a school bag or similar. The outer fabric is thin polyester. When I was looking to buy one for my own child, I found that most had lids or zippers, so I decided to make a simpler one. The length is just right for a standard size key (5.5cm-6cm), so you can quickly grab and pull it out. The opening is open.
