TOKAI's LS series at the time was even considered problematic by the original Gibson company, leading to the later development of the Orville brand, a Gibson for the Japanese market. These were highly refined Japanese-made Les Paul models. Despite being an entry-level model at the time, it boasts specs comparable to higher-end models, including a mahogany set-neck, rosewood fingerboard, and a plain-top body with beautiful wood grain, featuring a solid maple top and a two-piece mahogany back. There is information that the three-piece mahogany back and laminated maple top were introduced after 1984, which shows how lavishly wood was used at the time. This is a so-called Japan vintage guitar from over 40 years ago, and it is in very good condition. I am selling it to organize my collection, and I hope it will be used with care for a long time. The pickups, circuit board, switch, and jack are all original. Of course, it produces sound without any problems, and there is no crackling or noise. The headstock apex, back, and neck are all very clean, and the body has some touch-up marks on the sides, but there is no noticeable damage. There are no cracks in the escutcheons or knobs.
