I purchased this trombone used about 3 years ago and primarily used it as 1st trombone in a brass band for adults. I am selling it due to relocation. I plan to sell it when I move, so I am not considering a long-term listing. I played this trombone across a wide range, from high to low registers, so it is easy to play. The high notes, in particular, have excellent projection and carry well. Also, the overtones are easy to produce, resulting in a rich, deep sound. Even when the lever is pressed, I played it frequently, so I personally feel there is very little stuffiness or muffled sound. The rotary valve is a Hagmann valve and functions without any problems. Also, the rotation angle is smaller than traditional valves, allowing for smoother lever operation. It is recommended to apply oil before use to reduce the risk of wear and tear and potential malfunctions due to friction. The slide has no dents and operates smoothly. As it is used, there are some areas where the plating is peeling, especially on the hand grip, as shown in the photos. There is also a dent on the bell, but it is not significant and does not affect the playing experience. Although the model number is a bit older, the overall condition of the instrument is very clean. However, please consider this a home-stored item. I plan to clean and polish the instrument before shipping.
