This is a delicate cut glass dish, characterized by its decorative design. Originally, I believe it was used as a celery vase in England. (The British have a custom of serving celery at the table in such vessels.) It is a very beautiful item, and I think it could also be used as a vase. This is a vintage item. There are no scratches or chips, but please note that there is some clouding of the glass in places.
