Beautiful Nagoya obi, nearly new, has been made into a tsukuri-obi (pre-tied obi)! The obi fabric, similar to Hakata-ori, is a color close to salmon pink. It features Sagara embroidery of floral crests within diamonds. Although it's a single shade of pink, the embroidery appears raised, creating a simple and elegant obi. The obi fabric is somewhat stiff. As it's a Nagoya obi, the part that wraps around the body can be used on both sides. Suitable for komon (small patterned kimono) and tsumugi (pongee silk kimono) etc. The photos show it paired with a separately sold tsumugi komon. This listing is for the obi only.
