This is a lidded vessel made by Hirokazu Akino, the fifth generation head of the Iga-yaki kiln "Chuo-gama." Among the Iga-yaki known as a secret kiln, this is a unique work that is different from the conventional style. The texture of the clay, which is tightly fired like moss, is called "Yakisime Kokehada," and this piece incorporates a modern design into that surface, creating an item with a refined atmosphere. How about using it as a viewing piece or an incense burner, rather than as a practical bowl? Overall, there are no cracks, chips, or scratches. I think it is in good condition, suitable for both practical use and display.
