I purchased this approximately 15 years ago. I had it installed on a lap steel guitar, but since I didn't change tunings very often, I've removed it and kept it stored at home recently. However, it's a rare item that's hardly seen in Japan. It's not even listed on the Hipshot website anymore, so it may have been discontinued. The Hipshot Trilogy Bridge allows you to set three different pitches (trilogy) for each string. By setting all 6 strings, you can easily set up a total of 729 different tunings. You can easily change to open tunings, drop D, DADGAD, and other alternate tunings just by adjusting the levers. Of course, you can also move the levers while playing, so with some ingenuity, it can be used like a B-Bender. The famous slide guitar master, Sonny Landreth, also used this.
