It is characterized by its fine, hard, and dense stone quality, and its beautiful stone surface. ◯ This work utilizes the natural stone of the rare Akama Shikinkei stone, and is crafted into an oval shape with a smooth, polished surface, requiring considerable effort. The stone pattern features a mottled appearance of the Shikinkei stone's characteristic adzuki bean color, with dark green and pale blue-green stone patterns appearing on the hills, the sea, and even clearly on the inkstone's underside. This is a unique piece, even among Shikinkei stones. Shikinkei inkstones are special items due to the rarity of the stone.
