I bought these for practice, but I only used them a few times and switched to adult scissors, so they're still in good condition. In the third image, there is no paint peeling or major scratches. There are fine scratches if you look closely. In the fourth image, the spring, which is a rubber part, had come off and was missing. It didn't affect the use of the scissors.
