I haven't used this since I bought it from the store. There is no box. This is a Sajou fabric measuring tape. After pulling out the tape, you wind it back in by turning the screw on top. Because of its original simple construction, there may be variations in the wood from the beginning. It is handmade. Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for a perfect product. I pulled out the entire tape, but it only goes up to about 97cm.
