This is a vintage Fender Telecaster Thinline from the 1980s, serial number starting with E5, a popular model that Fender Japan is proud of worldwide. It features an ash (sen) body, maple fingerboard, and weighs approximately 3.35kg. The over 30 years of aging have resulted in a superb, crisp tone that is the charm of this instrument. There are paint chips and minor scratches. I would like to sell it as I have acquired more equipment. In my subjective opinion, the neck is set up for easy playability with a nearly flat profile, and the frets have about 70% remaining. There is sometimes a slight crackle when switching the vintage selector. Please understand that this is a vintage used item before purchasing.
