It appears to say "High-Grade Fine-Patterned Suzuri Stone." Size: Length: Approximately 14.8cm Width: Approximately 9.8cm Thickness: Approximately 2cm I received this as a supplementary prize about 20 years ago when I won an award for calligraphy. I have been using a cheap, lightweight, small suzuri, so this one is unused. I don't think the suzuri itself has deteriorated, but the outer box has some damage. Thank you for your consideration.
