This is an inkstone that my late father purchased at a duty-free shop during his trip to Korea in 1986. It is noted that he bought it for 7,000 yen at the time in Japanese currency. I am not sure of its origin as there is no information about the place of production. It appears to be made of a dark brown stone. Dimensions: Length 135mm, Width 77mm, Lid thickness 8mm, Body thickness 16mm. It is heavy. There are no signs that my father used it, but as it is an old item, please judge from the photos. There are no cracks or chips.
