The fabric is tightly woven and sturdy, so it's quite heavy, but very warm. The images appear a bit brighter, but the actual color is light gray, not a dark gray. There are a few small pills on the edge of the front placket and under the arms, but they are not very noticeable. There may be some creases from packaging.
