This is a happi coat from Seishu Tenpyo. It belonged to my grandfather, and is said to be over 40 years old. It was stored in a wardrobe. Size: Length: 700mm, Width: 560mm, Sleeve opening: 235mm, Sleeve attachment: 290mm, Sleeve length: 330mm, Collar width: 50mm With pocket (right side) Sturdy, stiff fabric. The material is unknown as there is no tag. There is some discoloration and yellowing due to aging. There are loose threads and fraying on the inside from sewing.
