I decided to buy them immediately because of how clean they were! After acquiring them, I had them tuned, and I've skied on them for 10 days (about 25 lift rides) over the past 4 years. I'm in my mid-60s, a former instructor... These are my favorite skis, but they've become too challenging for me! Because they are stiff and heavy, they offer excellent stability... Even at high speeds, they turn firmly when you apply pressure. If you have the leg strength, you can also make sharp short turns depending on your stance. I think these are best suited for junior/ladies racers for entry-level and practice, or for general skiers as an introduction to GS skiing. 【 Condition of the Skis 】 Condition of the top coat scratches... Top section (within 15cm from the curved part): Slight scuff marks. Tail section (within 25cm from the edge): Slight scuff marks from stepping on them. Other than the top/tail, there are only a few minor scratches. Condition of the sliding surface There are no deep scratches like those from stepping on rocks... There are 2-3 slight scuff marks on both sides, and the edges have slight rust due to poor maintenance last season. The condition of the edges is slightly dull on the inside because the skis were used with a distinction between left and right! The outer edges are in quite good condition... You can enjoy them for a while by slightly rounding off the top part of the outer edges and reversing the left and right skis. The best option is to revive them with a light tune-up (grinding the sliding surface/edges + base wax)! 【 Condition of the Bindings 】 The toe side has only minor scratches... I think these are scratches from kicking to remove snow? This is explained in image 6... There are scratches on the heel side of the bindings on both sides. The instructors kick off the bindings with the belly of either ski (those are the scratches!). They don't release in the poles...
