Shinobue flute, Take-sui of the Shishida school. It is a 6-hon choshi (key) with six holes, tenchi (top and bottom) rattan wrapped, and a natural color finish. This is a Shishida-ryu Shinobue flute, Take-sui, crafted by the second-generation flute maker, Chuichi Ito, who inherited the Shishida school from the late Edo period. It was made in the late Showa era, over 40 years ago. The bamboo is well-dried, and the sound quality and tone are excellent, making it a wonderful instrument. Please be careful of temperature and humidity changes. There is no other flute like this in the world. This is a single flute. Please consider it.
