Yamaha Alto Saxophone YAS-62, the first model. In January of this year, I spent about 90,000 yen to replace all the pads and corks. Since then, I've only checked the sound once. There is some lacquer peeling due to aging, but that's unavoidable. There are no noticeable scratches or dents. I have too many saxophones, and I won't be playing this one in the future, so I'm putting it up for sale. If you buy a used saxophone, you'll likely need to take it to a repair shop before you can use it. If it's been sitting unused for years, the pads will deteriorate, and there's a high chance of mold. When purchasing an instrument, if the description says "the sound came out, but adjustments are needed after purchase," the sound you heard probably isn't the sound of the instrument performing properly. Even if the pads and balance seemed fine when it was last used, maintenance is necessary to use it as an instrument again after a long period of inactivity. No matter how much a novice says the pads look clean, it's just a novice's assessment and shouldn't be relied upon. You'll need to factor in adjustment costs after purchasing a saxophone, but as I mentioned earlier, I've already replaced all the pads, so I think the next time you'll only need a balance adjustment, which should be less expensive. Everything in the photos is included. You only need to buy a reed to play it. The mouthpiece is a Yamaha 4C. I assume that anyone who uses this saxophone will have their preferred mouthpiece. I want to have a good experience, so please ask for additional photos or ask any questions you have before purchasing to ensure you are satisfied. A bad transaction is not good for either of us.
