Petzl RIG (Previous Model) The compact self-braking descender 'RIG' is designed for experienced rope access workers. The ergonomically designed handle allows for comfortable descent control. The safety catch allows the rope to be set and intermediate anchors to be passed while the device is connected to the harness. It does not have a panic brake. I own three units.
