This is a 3-piece glass rod specifically designed for small-scale pool trout fishing. Total length: approximately 120cm The guides are set with 9 guides, mainly PKTSG. Basically, it's set up with PE 0.2-0.3 and a Shimano 1000S, but you can comfortably use nylon lines around 2lb. The multi-point setting prevents line from flapping and allows it to pass through smoothly. The tip part has had the guide foot cut by 15% to adjust for a beautiful curve. The butt guide has been bent and reversed to be perpendicular to the blank (works for both PE and nylon lines). The grip area has an abalone sheet applied and coated with epoxy, followed by a 2-part urethane clear coat. A carbon pipe is inserted inside the grip and runs through to the end, eliminating the grip flex often found in glass rods. The foregrip was long and looked awkward in the stock condition, so it has been cut to balance the rod. I thoroughly tested a rod with the same specifications that I built for myself. The fishing experience is simply the best. While it has the unique characteristics of a short glass rod, the solid tip will hook bites even when others are silent due to short bites. It's comfortable to use with spoons up to about 1.5g, and micro crankbaits like Micro Crappie are comfortable. Even with ultra-thin lines, the blank follows well, so line breaks are almost non-existent with drag performance like a Nasci reel. It achieves the fun of a Trout Ranger in a 3-piece design. It doesn't have much power, but the glass's flexibility prevents the fish from thrashing excessively, so you can handle fish around 1kg. Closed length is 45cm, compact enough to fit in a small backpack, making train travel easy. I made this because I wanted to thoroughly enjoy short rods and use a rod that didn't feel cheap. I already have one for myself, so I'm putting this one up for sale. It's brand new and unused, as it's just been assembled.
