Thin cotton. It seems that if you cut it in half, you can make two cushion covers. Since it's 50x50, if you account for seam allowance, it will make small cushions. It's probably too big for a pillow. Also, as you can see in the last photo, it's cut slightly diagonally, so you might have to be creative when sewing one side, or it might end up shorter.
