This is a tenor saxophone mouthpiece by M. C. Gregory. Opening: 4A Chamber: 18 (Medium) It's vintage, so it shows some signs of use, but considering its age, it's in good condition. It feels a bit heavy and hard when you hold it. The material may be different from typical hard rubber. It has a unique texture on the surface. This seems to be due to the material and molding process, rather than dirt. There are some fairly deep teeth marks on the beak. I didn't mind them because I use a patch. I will ship it with a patch attached. Please check the photos for the extent of the wear. The tone is somewhat bright and mellow. I felt the response was good from low to high notes. The opening is narrow, but I didn't feel any stuffiness (individual perceptions may vary). Mouthpiece only, no accessories. Lightly cleaned and disinfected. No pets. Non-smoker. Will be packed in a small box suitable for a mouthpiece + cushioning material.
