Currently a hot topic thanks to the NHK Taiga drama "Berabou," this is a print of Utamaro Kitagawa's "Shun'u Shūsei" (Spring Rain, Autumn Sounds) from a shunga (erotic art) scroll. There is some age-related soiling (with small pieces of tape reinforcing the back in several places - see photos), but considering its age, it's in reasonably good condition. While we haven't had it authenticated, we've included many photos, so please use them to make your own judgment. Recently, high-quality shunga have become less common on the market, so please consider this if you are interested.
