This is an early model C-1 vest from the US military. The right pocket, as viewed from the front, has likely been customized with different fabric. The item has overall soiling and damage. Personally, I'm quite particular about the condition of used clothing, but in this case, I thought the more worn-in the better, and I've been using it with affection.
