This is an original carbide triangular scraper from our workshop. The length before sharpening is 30mm. There are two types: the right one in photo 1 has a shaft diameter of φ2 (actual measurement approx. 2.4mm), and the left one is φ1.5 (actual measurement approx. 1.9mm). This is a single item listing. Please determine which one it is from the title. Image 2 uses φ2, and is a general length guide, so please be aware of that. Unlike the standard basic scraper with a house-shaped cross-section blade, this has a triangular pyramid cross-section of 60 degrees, so there are three cutting edges. It can be said to be an inexpensive scraper tip. The mirror finish provides excellent edge retention and sharpness. It is a versatile tool for chamfering and deburring plastics, modeling wax, urethane coatings, and other soft materials, as well as precious metals. Engraving chisels are mainly used for polishing work, such as scraping off precious metals, but since it is a versatile tool, I prototyped it for my own use in repairing urethane coatings on fishing tackle. Made from the highest quality domestic carbide material, and sharpened by me, so it is, of course, a purely domestic product. Please be aware that Chinese products are not only poorly made, but the carbide material is also significantly inferior. Notes: φ1.5 has a thin diameter, and the taper is much sharper than φ2 to ensure the length of the blade, so it is not suitable for use on hard materials such as metal. The shaft diameter and color are black, so there may be some individual differences. The length may be slightly shortened by sharpening, and may be reduced to about 28mm. The tip is pointed, so it will chip easily if you bump it. However, the tip is not as pointed as to be used for extremely fine scribing because it has multiple vertices. φ2 is close to the router shaft diameter, but it is not a scraper to be used in a router or to use the tip. Please use it with sufficient caution, including wearing safety glasses to avoid injury. This is a single item listing for the scraper tip (the cap is included). The items in the photos are not included, they are mainly for illustrative purposes. Please note that there may be slight differences from the actual product due to the use of images from other sources. Please use a pin vise or other method to create your own grip. φ2 is a little thick for a 2mm core holder, but it may be usable depending on the object. We will handle initial defects, but we cannot replace blades that are chipped or damaged after use. We can also adjust the angle during re-sharpening, so we can handle it separately after purchase.
