CD to MD recording at up to 6x speed; a 74-minute CD can be recorded in about 15 minutes. The "Operation Stage," which concentrates operation buttons on the foot stand for improved operability, has been further developed. The main unit angle can be adjusted up to 15 degrees upwards, and the "Pop-up Operation Stage" tilts in conjunction with the main unit, allowing for smooth operation while viewing the LCD display. Furthermore, it prioritizes sound quality by employing PP mica speakers that reproduce rich bass and crystal-clear treble, as well as a "Live Virtualizer" that reproduces clear vocal sounds.
