This is a shammy for bowling. It is made by laminating brushed cowhide and stitching it with waxed thread, making it extremely durable. Both sides can be used. I have washed and used it myself many times, and it is a material that is very comfortable to use, hardly ever becoming stiff. While it does lose color when washed, the shammy itself hardly fades. It is cheaper than commercial products and more durable. It wipes away oil stains more effectively than microfiber towels.
