Thank you for viewing. This is a series of furoshiki (wrapping cloths) that can be used in various ways, adorned with hitomezashi (a type of sashiko stitching). This design features hemp leaf and cross flower stitching. The furoshiki are dyed by hand using the traditional technique of tenassen (hand-screen printing) by skilled artisans. This is a truly luxurious kit that combines this with hitomezashi to complete the furoshiki. Please enjoy the time spent creating each stitch, and the time spent using the finished product. The finished size is a slightly large 70 x 70 cm. This kit is similar to those found in Felissimo and Couturier, but this one is from a co-op.
