It can hold a lot of items, so I think it would be useful for lures and fly fishing. Included accessories are a rotary pinion reel line cutter, a pinion reel only, a safety pin for holding a fishing license, and a carabiner and spiral cord attached to the D-ring on the back. As a bonus, I'll also include the measuring tape and hook sharpener that were in the pockets. This vest accompanied me on trips to mountain streams, bass fishing, and even to Hokkaido for Itou trout. I'm sure it will comfortably support your fishing trips as well.
