This is a beautiful, nearly-new, vintage silk fukuro obi (formal obi) with a point pattern. There are no noticeable stains or blemishes, and it shows very little wear. The last image may look like gold leaf, but there is no gold leaf. The first image is closer to the actual color: a mottled silver background with a raised, textured weave featuring leaves, and three-dimensional peonies and silver embroidered flower centers in a pink gradient. This is an elegant point-pattern obi. The reverse side is a glossy, slightly purplish-pink solid color. The soft obi core makes this obi easy to tie. I am not perfect, so there may be some oversight.
