This is a kendo shinai (bamboo sword). Made in Japan using domestic madake bamboo. A valuable shinai handcrafted by artisans. Length is 3 shaku 9 sun (approximately 117 cm). Price is for one shinai. I requested it to be made heavier, but due to an elbow injury, I can no longer use a heavier shinai. It's very unfortunate, but I would like to pass it on to someone who will use it with care.
